This week I worked on an airplane cake for my husband. It was a lot of fun to design it and make it a cake. The cake was a replica of one of my husband's latest model airplane designs. It was a challenge to make because I wanted to add electronics to it to have the propellers spin. But in the end it turned out great. Here are the pictures of the cake.

Another Pair Of Shoes
So this time I made a pair of baby girls shoes that will go on a baby shower cake.
This cake will be for a good friend of mine. The cake will be three gifts, two of them will be wrapped and one will be an open box with the baby shoes in it.
I'll post the picture when the cake is done. But in the meantime here is the picture of the shoes.

Fashion Cake
My most recent project was a fashion cake that I made for a dear friend. It was a purse cake with a shoe, a lipstick, and a pearl necklace. The cake flavor was pink lemonade with lemon buttercream and whipped cream filling and all covered and decorated with fondant. The shoe is made of pastillage icing. It was a lot of fun to design it and put it together. I decided to put the fabbylicious logo on both the cake and shoe to make them look like it was their brand.
Here are the pictures.

A more easy going week.
This week I have two projects. Finishing a Topsy Turvy cake and making a safari cake.
I made a giraffe, a zebra and a dark brown leopard. My son tells me that there are not brown leopards and I told him that in the Fabbylicious world now there is one. I made it brown on purpose.
I will post pictures of them soon.
I just wanted to take some time to write.
